Valley Surgical purchases and redistributes surplus medical supplies from hospitals and surgery centers. Based in the United States and founded over 15 years ago, Valley Surgical is a distributor for many hospitals and surgical facilities across the country. The company’s core value is to provide “a green alternative solution” addressing the “huge problem in healthcare, where there is a lot of waste and over production”.
Valley Surgical works with relief organizations, redistributing surgical products worldwide.
David Johnson, Vice-President, joined the organization in August 2015 and is responsible for developing and managing the sales & operations team. David recognized the need for a CRM system as soon as he joined the company. “It was one of the first things I saw, there was nobody managing the system, it was just there because someone told them they needed it. So, when I got to Valley Surgical it was very important to manage customers.”
He adds “There was really not much account management going on. It was just sending email blasts, and then following up on what we knew was hot. It was the perfect opportunity for me to get in there, spread my wings and help bring in the right systems that complemented the goal”

This allows us to be able to really drill down on certain contacts and accounts and be able to home in on them much more than the company had been able to do before.”
